JD came home with a family project for Thanksgiving: Decorating a cardstock turkey however we wanted!
Our family got together tonite and feathered that fowl up! We cut up a bunch of tissue paper and used pencils to scrunch and glue it to the turkey as feathers. As the kids worked on that part, I puff-painted a beak and an eye for the turkey. The final piece was to drizzle glue all over the turkey and then cover it with gold glitter-that part we did outside :) Overall, the turkey turned out great and JD was super excited to bring it in to share with the class!
