September Pack Meeting

Today's pack meeting was truly thrilling as it was based on the circus and cooperating to complete amazing feats of great danger and excitement!  The leaders did a great job decorating the cultural hall, and the uni cyclist was really amazing.
The boys did a quick lesson for the parents on cooperation before doing a few relay races that required teamwork. JD teamed up with Danny Thies to get a balloon from Point A to Point B without using their hands-they did a great job!

A fuzzy shot, but this is JD with the ringmaster!
JD received a patch today for completing the cooperation activities as well as a bed for meal planning, cooking, and clean up.  Unfortunately, we realized when we got there that the plastic thingie his beads attach to was no longer on his shirt, so we'll have to replace that and the bead he already had before attaching his second bead.

JD wanted a picture with the bear, so  I have to include it!
Overall, it was a super fun evening, and a good release since this week has been emotionally draining with surgery being moved.  We should be in the hospital right now, and while I'm glad for the extra time, it has made yesterday and today super weird.  This smiling face right here makes it a bit better!
