Welcome to our Home Santa!
Our Christmas Eve tradition has always been to write letters/draw pictures to Santa, and lay out his Christmas treats. Our Christmas treats always go beyond the normal milk and cookies. For example, on this Christmas Eve, the kids chose milk, a brownie, Activia yoghurt, and grapes. For the reindeer it was celery (we had no carrots!) and a bowl of water. Which was very thoughtful of the kids, in myopinion! We also always put out a blanket with a note (hand written by Karianna) inviting Santa to take a cat nap before heading out again. The kids were so cute working together to lay this all out, watching them carefully balance the water and milk on the chair, positioning the blanket just right, and carefully packing their letters into their stockings. We watched the beginning of the Polar Express with hot chocolate and then it was time to tuck everyone in to bed. It was such a fun, enjoyable part of our Christmas traditions! I love this part of Christmas Eve!
