I meant to post about this last week, but time escaped me! Each year our family tries to make it to the Temple the day after Thanksgiving in order to see the temple lights flipped on in one fluid motion. It is pretty spectacular to see the Temple suddenly bathed in the twinkle of thousands of Christmas lights! The temple was PACKED, and as such, we had only just cleared the parking lot when the lights came on, but it was still wonderful to be there and taste the atmosphere that always surrounds the Temple, especially at Christmas time. If anyone is looking for a great evening out with family, loved ones, friends, solo-this is a great spot to go! Here's a few pics of the kids reveling in the spirit of Christmas!
